The Baptist Home Of South Jersey

Raise The Roof ! We are embarking on a three-year project to replace our roof. The cost is estimated at $150,000 and that does not include solar panels, which we are considering. There are sections of our roof that have been patched so many times, any more patching will be ineffective. We have one hallway that “rains” during every heavy downpour and as snow melts. We are required by regulation to have ceiling tiles in place with no stains. Replacing these tiles becomes costly both in terms of materials and manpower, but it must be done to remain in compliance with state and federal regulations. I am asking each of our supporters to become involved in this new project. We call it “Raise the Roof!” As we raise money for the roof, we will replace those sections which are in the worst shape. Yes, it would be less expensive to wait and have the entire roof done at one time than to do it in sections, but we are being realistic. At Riverview Estates we have a philosophy of having the money in hand before we spend it. This isn’t always possible, but the policy has served us well over the years. How can you be involved? Choose one or more of the ways suggested below, or come up with your own idea that appeals to you.
Riverview Estates’ Circle of Friends Riverview Estates is supported by a circle of financial friends whose love of Riverview Estates and our residents enables us to continue our mission that was begun by American Baptists in 1954. Your financial support helps us to continue to offer assisted living, rehabilitation and skilled nursing care to those whose resources do not cover the full cost of their care. A contribution to Riverview Estates is exempt from federal taxation under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. You can send your gift as a cash or check donation to us at the below address, or make a donation by credit card by clicking the "Make a Donation" button on the upper left. Riverview Estates |

Tree of Hope The Riverview Estates “Tree of Hope” is designated as a memorial. It is a permanent public recognition of your tax deductable gift to our Benevolent Care Fund. Located in the administrative hall of our facility, a leaf or a stone on our Tree of Hope can be dedicated to someone in memoriam or in their honor. A $500.00 donation entitles you to a leaf; a $50,000 donation entitles you to a stone.
