| Walk-A-Thon / Family Picnic |

Our walk-a-thon has become the largest annual event at Riverview Estates. The day begins at 9:30 a.m. for registration; the walk starts at 10:00 a.m. A beautiful 4 mile walk around historic Riverton is sure to be a nice close for the summer. A 2 mile walk and shorter routes are also available. After the walk, walkers, family, and residents are invited to stay for the Family Picnic from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The event takes place rain or shine.

| Sock Hop and Silent Auction |

The Sock Hop and Silent Auction will feature music from the 1950s. Marc Shaw will be performing live! This event will take place on Saturday, October 16th in the Auxiliary Room. Relax, enjoy a buffet style dinner, or dance! We have lots of items and baskets for auction. All proceeds will benefit the Raise the Roof fund. Stop by, enjoy the fun, and don’t forget your favorite poodle skirt or leather jacket! With each ticket, you receive entrance to our buffet style dinner and a free ticket for our special door prize (will be announced that evening). Tickets are $25.00/pp and may be purchased at the Front Desk from the Receptionist, on-line through the Pay Pal button, at the door that night, or by calling Opal Vogt at 856-829-2274 Ext. 150 or Theresa Romano at 856-829-2274 Ext. 140. There are many ways to help, even if you are unable to attend our special event but would like to contribute to the Raise the Roof fund. You or your place of business could donate a tax deductible basket/gift for the auction or make a contribution designated for the Roof. |

The Christmas Bazaar is hosted by our Auxiliary. There are special Christmas decorations, gently worn clothing, jewelry, attic treasures, crafts, books, and more available for purchase. All are welcome! |

| Family Christmas Party |

The Family Christmas party is an opportunity for one and all to come and celebrate the season. Family, friends, residents, and staff are welcome to enjoy light appetizers, cookies, juice, and eggnog. Santa will be there for an opportunity for children, young and old, to have their picture taken. |

| Path of Light Ceremony |

Each year we ask people to honor and remember loved ones by purchasing a luminary in their name. Each luminary is placed along our pathway creating a beautiful “candlelight” dinner for our residents in the Main Dining Room. At 6:45 p.m. we begin the ceremony. | reception with snacks and refreshments in the Victorian Living Room. All proceeds go toward our Benevolent Care Fund. If you have a “special someone” who has been influential in your life, then Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the life of that person. |
